Experience (with links where applicable): I've been roleplaying for quite some time. emilysloane and the_rehab_angel are links to some of my modern characters. as for HP Cameron and Normandy were part of an AU HP game on GJ, and I also played pomposity for a short while before I had to hiatus and the game ended.

CHARACTER INFORMATION:
Name: Victoria Melody Putnam

Boggart: Dogs, of any size, or breed for that matter. When she was a small child, the Nanny decided to go snooping through their family home and left the girl alone to antagonize the family Labrador. The dog, who despite coexisting in the same world as Victoria, was not used to small children and when he'd had quite enough of the four year old yanking on his ears, he took matters into his own paws. The dog was later given away, and Victoria still carries some of the scars from where she was bitten on her right upper arm.
Patronus: Shooting Stars.

Personality: Victoria is one of the easiest people to get along with. One might think otherwise, due to her upbringing, but the moment she set foot on the Hogwarts Express, the glum little witch simply lit up. She's often bright and bubbly, but not annoyingly so, and is empathetic to the needs of her peers. Whenever help is needed, Victoria is the one to go to! She has an extremely high tolerance level when it comes to dealing with others, which has come in handy when dealing with confrontation, or even the social hierarchy developing among the Hogwarts student body.

When it comes to her own personal trials, however, Victoria is a bit introverted. She always dreaded summer break, since it meant that she would have to go home, and she views her graduation with the same sort of fear. Victoria enjoys being among people, and when she's home, she's alone for a majority of the time. In short, if she could, Victoria would stay a teenager forever, and among some of the only people in the world she believes truly care about her.

Cayla was an aspiring poptart from the USA with the short lived girl group Charmed at the age of 15. When she was 16 she encountered Martin Putnam (who was 26) at the hotel she was staying with on the first leg of Charmed's tour of Britain. In his defense, Cayla looked quite a bit older than she actually was, and she came on rather strong to Martin, an Auror with the Ministry. When news broke of Cayla's pregnancy, Charmed replaced her, Martin attempted to make an honest Witch of her, and her parents attempted to rid of the trouble. Cayla would have none of it, though. The teenager gave birth to a healthy Victoria Melody and signed away her parental rights to Martin. She finished her education and launched a rather successful solo career in the States with soulful piano melodies. Martin was constantly away on business with the Ministry throughout Victoria's childhood and left his only daughter to be raised by a slew of Nannies and her Godfather, the idle rich Christian Putnam.

Character History: Victoria Putnam was raised by at least seven different, but equally detached witches. She only knew her mother from the television, singing love songs to her many adoring fans. Her father rarely stayed home for more than a week at a time, and when he was the last thing he was concerned with was his daughter. Victoria was a ghost in her home, creeping along on her tip toes, talking to imaginary friends and house ghosts in whispers, and was ever the little lady when her father entertained guests.

The nannies eventually became au pairs, and Victoria learned to focus on her studies. She became a fan of Astronomy and Magical Creatures studies, but never had a hands on experience. When she came of age, Martin seriously considered continuing to tutor his daughter, but when a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry arrived, his little blonde pixie put her foot down for the first time ever. He was never home anyway, she pointed out at the top of her lungs, and she was not content to just be a lady.

When she arrived at Hogwarts, Victoria bloomed like a flower among children her own age. She hated the summers she had to spend apart from Hogwarts. She was named Prefect in her fifth year by high recommendations of several professors, and became both a peacekeeper among the Gryffindor ranks and a shoulder to hold them up. Not to mention their biggest cheerleader. It was no surprise when the girl received the honor of Head Girl. Victoria does her best every day to uphold the title and to make Hogwarts proud. When she completes her education, she hopes to pursue a career in Astronomy. Or work at a Zoo.
